According to James B. Allen, the Japan based author of “Online Income Blueprints Vol. 1″,  Goldman Sachs Group’s courting of Mark Zuckerberg’s company is setting the stage for things to come.

“With the internet so accessible – and so many proven ways to monetize it – more and more people will continue to walk away from traditional jobs and lifestyles and pursue creating an online business of their own,” says Allen.

Allen also suggests that inspiring internet entrepreneurs don’t need a lot of money to get started either.

While Allen admits that not everyone will be able to launch an online business that ends up being turned into a movie like The Social Network, he remains convinced that internet business models will be at the heart of reviving the global economy.

“I believe the current recession is just a passing phase due to the sudden change in business models – mainly due to the internet. As more people adapt to the new technology, we’ll see things start to pick up again. Entrepreneurs who start taking advantage of these opportunities now will be ahead of the game.”
