You’re cutting it pretty close if you’ve waited until the last minute to get a gift for your St. Valentine’s day special someone this year! Here’s a few ideas that might help:

• Flowers - if there are any left at the florist. Just don’t buy the cheap ones - and stick with red roses. Also, don’t give a potted plant that needs to be taken care of - shows your Valentine that you are too needy.
• Cake - and other fine desserts are great at the last minute - because they’ll still be fresh.
• NOT JEWELRY - if you’re rushing to pick out a gift - don’t go with jewelry. You won’t be focused enough to pick out something nice and get a good price for it.
